In December 2023, the X Colombian Antarctic Expedition departed, an initiative led by the Colombian Navy (ARC), the General Maritime Directorate (Dimar), and the Colombian Ocean Commission (CCO), together with academic collaboration. This voyage aims to continue marine scientific research on the White Continent, and to raise the request for Colombia to become a consultative member of the Antarctic Treaty (AT), reaffirming our commitment to the preservation of marine ecosystems.
In this expedition, Gracol joins the effort, supporting the food of those who sail to Antarctica. Our food is an essential part of the crew's diet, thus supporting Colombia's mission and commitment to research and preservation of the region.
